British American Drama Academy
- Greek Theatre Program
Zeus—
… fixed this precept for our good,
the truth that “learning comes through pain.”
Aeschylus’ Agamemnon, lines 175-177. Translation by Oliver Taplin (2018).
After a two-year postponement, in June 2022 I set out for a month long study abroad with the British American Drama Academy for their inaugural Greek Theatre Program. My classmates and I studied and performed Greek tragedy with an array of international scholars and artists in London, Delphi, Epidaurus, Athens, and Oxford. Here are some photographs that document this utterly transformational experience.
